Labeled 7552, it uses grade 5 leaves and is classified on the fermentation scale close to green tea. The tea originates from Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, specifically from Menghai, known as the “Pu-erh Holy Land.” It has a very pleasant, consistent flavor typical of Menghai teas, with minor changes between infusions. The taste profile is a blend of long-lasting honey, apricot, and almond notes, complemented by a unique aroma.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”5950″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1730059497791{border-left-width: 3px !important;padding-top: 10px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 10px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;border-left-color: #ba3818 !important;border-left-style: solid !important;}”]

Preparation

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text el_class=”justi”]To prepare Pu-erh tea, use a porcelain gaiwan or a clay yixing teapot. If using yixing (or any porous clay), it is highly advised you dedicate a separate pot exclusively for Pu-erh teas. Experienced tea drinkers even use different pots for Shu and Sheng Pu-erh. Use water at 95-100°C, and about 6 grams of tea per 100 ml of purified water. Make sure to rinse the tea leaves in the first infusion to “awaken” the leaves, then drink from the second infusion. You can adjust steeping time if you wish, typically up to 10 seconds for the second and third infusions. The quality of water and steeping time have a significant affect on the tea’s flavor. It is important to note that Pu-erh can be steeped up to 6-8 times.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1730059571759{padding-top: 3% !important;padding-right: 3% !important;padding-bottom: 3% !important;padding-left: 3% !important;background-color: #ba3818 !important;}” el_class=”feher”]Secret tip:
The taste of previously colourless tea can still be quite special.
