Description

Nokcha is an unmatched artisan green tea from the Yukro family, grown in the expansive gardens of the Jiri Mountains in Korea. This tea, as well as the red tea, are truly unique and aren’t present in Chinese or Japanese tea culture. Its small, irregularly curved leaves yield a bright and transparent infusion. The complex aroma of Nokcha is both light and extremely rich at the same time, with a slightly sweet and grassy flavour intermingling with a subtly salty, almost oceanic aftertaste.

Preparation

To prepare, use a traditional porcelain or glass teapot. Preheat the teapot and cups with hot water. Then use about 5 – 7 g of tea leaves (2-3 teaspoons) for every 150 – 250 ml of water. Next, pour water at 70°C – 75°C over the tea leaves and steep for about 1 minute for the first and second infusions. For any subsequent infusions, you can gradually raise the temperature and increase the steeping time.
