Description

The moringa plant was first documented as a medicinal plant around 2000 BCE and is indigenous to North India. From India, moringa spread eastward, reaching the lower areas of China, Southeast Asia, and the Philippines. It also migrated west from India, eventually making its way to the Caribbean from Egypt, the Horn of Africa, and the Mediterranean region. In Africa’s underdeveloped areas, it has gained popularity due to its high trace element concentration. This unique tea is distinctively nutty-flavoured, spicy-scented, and offers a lovely, sweet aftertaste. Moringa tea can help with stabilising blood sugar levels and blood pressure. It can have positive impacts on blood circulation as well as the cardiovascular system. What’s more is it increases the supply of blood going to the brain and your eyes. Additionally, it could prevent atherosclerosis from forming. It can reduce joint inflammation and prevent the onset of migraine-type headaches. It can aid in recuperation after exercise, it boosts digestion and metabolism, and lessens depressive and anxious symptoms. It can even enhance memory and have an advantageous impact on kidney and liver function.

Moringa contains approximately 46 antioxidants, making it one of the richest natural sources of antioxidants. Antioxidants, as we know, are essential for neutralising free radicals, which, if present in excess, can lead to illness and disease. Being a well-established fact that antioxidants function best when combined with other nutrients, it is important to note that moringa leaves provide the body with a variety of other nutrients in addition to antioxidants. Moringa leaves are also abundant in flavonoids, which are a class of antioxidants.
