Description

This high-altitude black tea originates from Nepal’s Antu Valley, located on the southern slopes of the snowy Himalayas. A clear, golden infusion is created by the small, evenly twisted green-brown leaves. Similar to the first flush Darjeeling, it has a complex, aroma-rich taste that’s light and smooth, even sweet, and slightly astringent with a floral note.

Preparation

For brewing, use a glass or traditional porcelain teapot. Then preheat the teapot with hot water. Now measure one teaspoon of tea per cup and place it in the teapot. After adding boiling water to the tea leaves, let them steep for approximately 4 minutes. You can fully change and adjust the steeping time to your own personal preference, suggestibly ranging from 3 – 5 minutes. Once brewed, try the tea without sugar or milk. We suggest tasting the unflavored version of the tea at first, and only then considering adding these flavourings.
